Angelika Brocklehurst OTR/L
Angelika Brocklehurst is the owner and founder of Achievement Therapies. A graduate of the University of Stellenbosch, South Africa, Angelika has been practicing occupational therapy in the United States since 1995 and specializing in educational performance since 2003. She is currently pursuing her occupational therapy doctorate through Quinnipiac University with expected graduation in May 2015. Angelika is a part-time provider of occupational therapy for the highly-regarded City Schools of Decatur, Georgia. She is also a school support director for NeuroNet Learning, supporting classrooms that implement NeuroNet's Classroom Enrichment programs. Angelika lives in Decatur with her husband and two children.
Early in her career, Angelika became frustrated with the lack of real progress she saw for students receiving traditional therapies for their learning disabilities. Finding new and innovative approaches became her passion and led to the establishment of Achievement Therapies, which emphasizes revolutionary, brain-based programs such as NeuroNet and Interactive Metronome over the older, more traditional therapies.
